Reflection Blog – My Journey at Reboot the Future

By Rawan Mahmoud

Working at Reboot the Future as a Project Officer Intern has been an incredible journey of learning, creativity, and growth. Over these weeks, I had the chance to explore my personal values, contribute to meaningful projects, and understand how value-driven experiences can create real impact.

I started drafting an editorial line for weekly social posts and biweekly blog articles to promote the Classroom Calendar and Reboot Education platform. I added upcoming Global Days for September through December and began drafting content.

🦋 It was exciting to take my ideas from research to written content. I felt proud seeing my work help shape how we communicate the organization’s values to teachers and communities.

I wrote short LinkedIn posts to promote Global Days, resources, and the Classroom Calendar. I also drafted two biweekly blogs: one for Reboot the Future and one for Reboot Education.

🌍 Collaborating with Ahmad, I also helped test HubSpot and GA integration and report on contacts data. I learned how analytics and content work hand in hand to measure engagement and impact.

Working with Bruna Bertuzzi (manager), I prepared the comms calendar for October–November, including social posts and blog themes. I added Global Days for October and November, ensuring all content was aligned with the organization’s values and mission.

🌱 It was rewarding to see my research and writing directly inform the team’s planning. I felt more confident in organizing content that resonates with our audience.

I worked on the Values Research Project, diving deep into understanding what values mean for our team and our audience. I also drafted Blog 3 on AI in education, aligning it with Reboot AI.

🦋 This part of my internship was particularly meaningful, I realized how research can guide not just projects, but also storytelling that inspires action. It helped me connect my analytical skills with my passion for values-based education.

I conducted podcast research, exploring tools and resources for value-driven content creation. In the last week, I finalized the podcast spreadsheet, answered exit interview questions, and linked all the documents I worked on.

🌍 I felt proud reflecting on all the work I had done, from research and blogs to content planning and analytics. It was a satisfying way to see my contributions supporting the organization’s mission.

Values Presentation & Team Sessions

Presenting my Values Presentation was one of the highlights of my internship. Sharing my personal reflections on empathy, growth, and respect helped me connect with my team on a deeper level.

The team values session was equally inspiring. Listening to everyone’s perspectives made me appreciate how shared values strengthen collaboration and drive meaningful impact.

Reflection & Takeaways

This internship taught me that values are not just words, they guide our decisions, shape our work, and inspire change. I grew in confidence, creativity, and teamwork, and I now feel more equipped to contribute to value-driven projects in the future.

🦋 This experience reminded me that combining research, communication, and values can create real impact, a lesson I will carry into my career.

With gratitude,
